Relationship: the Divine Dance - A Retreat by Paul Ferrini

In this 2024 retreat, Paul explores in-depth our relationship with ourselves, our relationship with others, and our relationship with the divine. He shares important techniques for establishing a relationship with our inner child and healing our family of origin wounds.  This leads us to an integration of the shadow elements and restores harmony and wholeness in the psyche.

Answering Our Own Call for Love

In this 2023 Virtual Retreat Paul, focuses on how we can bring love to our inner child and begin to create integration and wholeness in the psyche. Learning to look at our shadow aspects with compassionate awareness - not judgmental awareness - is the first step in bringing love to the parts of ourselves we have rejected.
Spiritual practices like the Core Self Meditation, the Loving Ourselves Mantra from the Keys to the Kingdom and the Affinity Process help us to stay in our hearts and reinforce our connection to love. That connection is inevitably tested in our intimate relationships where our wounds are triggered and we blame and shame our partners and ourselves.
Paul explains how to take timeout when we are triggered and use the affinity process to own our triggers and take our partners off the hook. From Healing to Empowerment

In this 2022 retreat, Paul Ferrini takes an in-depth look at healing our childhood wounds and traumas, making it clear that healing is a life-long process. We have to understand where our fear and our shame come from and the beliefs and reactive behaviors that resulted from them. We have to see how we have given our power away or usurped the power of others in the search for acceptance and love. The Search for Truth Beyond Subjectivity

his 2021 retreat began with a discussion of our cycles and how we could best move forward after Covid, However, we soon realized that we all had very different experiences and beliefs about the virus and we could see that our little group was a microcosm of the polarities that we were experiencing in the world around us. Some powerful sharings and discussions ensued. After dealing with the triggers that resulted, Paul emphasized the importance of removing our subjective filters and moving toward a more objective encounter with the truth as it reveals itself to us. The Crucible of Relationship

In this 2021 retreat over Valentine’s Day Weekend, Paul explored how we can move beyond selfishness and

Equality and Justice in the 21st Century

In this important virtual retreat in September, 2020 Paul addresses the contemporary quest for equality and justice.
The following talks are offered.

Talk 1: Our Existential Equality; The most difficult task in our lives is to learn to love ourselves radically and existentially.  Our worth and value as human beings does not come from how much we know, what we do or how others think and feel about us.  It comes from cultivating a loving relationship with ourselves.   It is a core spiritual truth that if we are not able to love ourselves, it is unlikely that we will be able to love our neighbor. We may pay lip service to the concepts of love, justice and equality but we will never be able to manifest them in our relationships with each other.

Talk 2:  Healing Unworthiness, Overcoming Projection and coming Face to Face: As we move into our healing Journey, we come face to face with our unworthiness and shadow material and see how we project our self-hatred onto others.  By healing our traumas and having compassion for the suffering of others, we dissolve the blocks to love in our hearts and begin to take back our projections so that we can see others as they really are.  We know in our hearts that love is based on acceptance, not on agreement. When we tolerate differences and listen to each other with compassion, we bury our swords and become peacemakers.

Talk 3: Creating a World with Liberty, Equality and Justice for All: We all make mistakes.  We all have prejudices and unconscious bias.  We all have beliefs that prevent us from seeing the truth about ourselves and others. We need to break through our denial, recognize our shortcomings, and practice forgiveness of ourselves and others.  As we do this, we begin to  overcome the outward polarization in society.  We learn to find common ground and shared solutions.  We cooperate to end poverty, racism and other forms of injustice.  We learn to stand up for everyone’s right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Meet the Film Makers

Lee Cholodenko is a certified teacher of Paul’s work. In 2010, when it became important for us to begin capturing the retreat experience on video, Lee volunteered to help.  Even though he had no prior experience with filming or editing, Lee committed himself to learning all the steps necessary.   It is only through his devotion and love for the work that these early videos (2010 -2016) exist.
